Watch: Jung Il Woo And Go Ara Are Playful And Adorable Behind The Scenes Of “Haechi”

On March 15, SBS released a new making-of video of its latest historical drama.
In the video, Jung Il Woo rehearsed and laughed at a co-star’s jokes about one of his lines. Go Ara and Jung Il Woo then acted out a scene in which he’s too shy to look at her in her dress, after which Go Ara playfully pretended to be a merchant selling fabrics to the camera.
Go Ara changed again into a court lady’s costume, and the two did a sweet scene where Jung Il Woo couldn’t take his eyes off of her. The director shouted cut and praised Jung Il Woo’s romantic acting.
Calling Go Ara by her character’s name, Jung Il Woo asked, “Isn’t Yeo Ji pretty today?” and a male staff member answered, “Yes!” The actor then expressed his dismay at how the staff never comments that he looks handsome, but immediately resumed telling Go Ara that she’s pretty.
The actress joked, “You’re saying it without any soul. Is it just because the making camera is here?” and Jung Il Woo humorously replied, “Oh, no. I was too obvious.” The pair then snapped a series of adorable photos together before the director joked that they should stop hogging the camera.
“Haechi” airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10 p.m. KST. Check out the making-of video below:
