The upcoming film “Hijacking” has released its first poster and teaser!
“Hijacking” will depict the extreme situation when an aircraft full of passengers gets hijacked in the airspace of Korea in 1971.
In the released poster, co-pilot Tae In (Ha Jung Woo) and pilot Gyu Sik (Sung Dong Il) appear hanging upside down in their overturned aircraft. Even amidst this chaotic situation, Tae In still looks unwilling to yield control and determined to make a safe landing, vividly capturing this desperate situation. Bleeding all over is Gyu Sik sitting on the other side, having his eyes fixed on Tae In and looking terrified. Behind them is Yong Dae (Yeo Jin Goo) who appears trying to reach the cockpit amidst the crisis, raising curiosity about his intentions.
In the teaser, the aircraft appears swaying uncontrollably after Tae In announces a safety message to the passengers. Someone shouts, “Escape!” but Tae In is unwilling to move, and his eyes are determined. Consequently guiding the audience into extreme tension and suspense is Yong Dae, who voluntarily removes the safety pin of the bomb that he is holding while declaring, “This plane will go to North Korea!” and the aircraft explodes.
“Hijacking” is set to hit theaters on June 21.
