Watch: “Fantasy Boys” Announces Semester 2 Rankings And Eliminations + Begins Round 3 Position Mission

“Fantasy Boys” has announced its final rankings for Semester 2!

MBC’s audition program “Fantasy Boys” is the male version of “My Teen Girl,” the audition program that gave rise to the rookie girl group CLASS:y last year. The show is hosted by TVXQ‘s Changmin with mentors 2PM’s Wooyoung, Jung Jinyoung, WINNER‘s Kang Seung Yoon, and (G)I-DLE’s Jeon Soyeon. The program is divided into four semesters and the final 12 contestants who pass all four stages will make the debut lineup.

Last week, the contestants closed out their Visual Mission and partial second semester rankings were announced, with Jeong Deunhaesol in No. 36 and Santa in No. 6.

In the April 27 broadcast of “Fantasy Boys,” the second rankings ceremony was held with 37 of 42 contestants making it to Semester 3. See the full rankings below!

Following the rankings announcement, Wooyoung, the main producer for the semester, was given the opportunity to save one eliminated trainee. Wooyoung chose to save Park Hyeonggun, leaving Park Mingeun, Choi Minseo, Bae Jaeho, and Moon Heokjun to be eliminated.

After finishing at the top, the contestants ranking in first to third were taken in for special styling. Later, they joined their fellow contestants for the announcement of their third semester mission. Jinyoung appeared as the main producer for Semester 3 and shared that their next task was a Specialty Major mission for which they will choose vocal, rap, or dance positions to form teams.

In the vocal position, contestants must have vocal and ad-lib parts, while those in the dance position must have a dance break. Finally, rappers must participate in their own rap-making. Benefits will go to the contestants placing first in each position and their respective teams.

The mission songs include EXO’s “Monster,” WINNER’s “Really Really,” MONSTA X’s “Shoot Out,” BTS’s “I Need U,” and Stray Kids’ “MIROH.”
