BTS’s Jungkook has shared his support for South Korea’s national soccer (football) team!
Earlier today on November 20 at 2 p.m. KST, Jungkook released the new song “Dreamers,” his contribution to the soundtrack of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
Jungkook dropped the single just hours before the World Cup 2022 opening ceremony where he will be performing the song for the first time together with Qatari singer Fahad Al-Kubaisi.
On November 20, the Korean Football Association (KFA) shared that Jungkook visited the training center the previous day in Doha, Qatar where the Korean national team is training. In a behind-the-scenes video shared by the KFA, Jungkook excitedly greets team manager Paulo Bento as well as professional soccer players including Son Heung Min and Kim Min Jae.
Proudly showcasing the uniform he received from the team, Jungkook shares, “I hope the players don’t get hurt. The BTS members including me as well as South Korean citizens are all cheering [the athletes] on, and I hope they achieve the results they want. I’m gearing up for my stage, so I will also work hard on performing while thinking of the players. Please don’t get hurt, and hwaiting!”
