Watch: BABYMONSTER To Drop New Single In July, Followed By Full Album; TREASURE To Drop New Album In Fall

Get ready for new albums from BABYMONSTER and TREASURE!

On May 20 at midnight KST, YG Entertainment released a special announcement video in which founder Yang Hyun Suk personally revealed the company’s comeback plans for BABYMONSTER and TREASURE.

First, Yang Hyun Suk announced that BABYMONSTER would be revealing a performance video for their recent B-side “LIKE THAT,” which was composed by Charlie Puth, sometime within the month.

Yang Hyun Suk then shared that BABYMONSTER was preparing to release a full-length album around October. (Interestingly, though he only mentioned October in the video, the English subtitles translate his remark as “either September or October.”)

Ahead of the album’s release, BABYMONSTER will be making a comeback with a pre-release single from the upcoming album in early July.

Yang Hyun Suk also spoke about TREASURE’s upcoming return with the new song “KING KONG,” which is due out on May 28. He then went on to reveal that TREASURE would be releasing a new album this fall, though he did not specify a date.
