TWICE Tops Oricon Monthly Album Chart With New Compilation Album “TWICE2”
Apr 10, 2019
TWICE has added another milestone to their list of achievements!
On March 10, Japanese music chart Oricon announced that TWICE’s latest compilation album “#TWICE2,” which was released on April 6, topped its March monthly album chart after selling around 285,287 copies in just a little over a month!
Ever since its release, “#TWICE2” has been gathering massive success by topping Oricon’s weekly chart for three weeks in a row.
This is the second time that TWICE topped Oricon’s monthly album chart, after doing so with their first Japanese studio album “BDZ,” which was released in September last year.
After successfully concluding their Japanese dome tour on April 6, TWICE announced their upcoming domestic comeback. According to the first batch of teasers they released on April 8, the group will be making their highly-anticipated comeback on April 22 with their seventh mini album “Fancy You” and the title track “Fancy.”
TWICE is also scheduled to kick off their 2019 world tour in Seoul on May 25 and 26, after which they will head abroad to perform in Bangkok, Singapore, Manila, and more cities in North America.
