Two new dramas dominated this week’s rankings of the most buzzworthy dramas and cast members!
In its first week on air, tvN’s “Twenty Five, Twenty One” ranked No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.
Not only did “Twenty Five, Twenty One” top the list of most buzzworthy dramas, but its stars also swept the top two spots on the list of most buzzworthy drama cast members, with Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk ranking No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.
JTBC’s “Forecasting Love and Weather” followed close behind in its own first week on air: the show claimed No. 2 on the drama list, while stars Park Min Young, Song Kang, and Yoon Bak came in at No. 3, No. 4, and No. 10 respectively in the actor rankings.
Amidst this stiff competition from new dramas, KBS 2TV’s “Young Lady and Gentleman” stayed strong on both lists. The long-running series took No. 3 on the drama list, while stars Lee Se Hee and Ji Hyun Woo ranked No. 5 and No. 8 respectively on the actor list.
JTBC’s “Artificial City” rose to No. 4 on the drama list in its final week on air, with leading lady Soo Ae at No. 6 on the actor list.
Finally, tvN’s “Ghost Doctor” ranked No. 5 on the drama list, while stars Rain and Kim Bum came in at No. 7 and No. 9 respectively on the actor list.
