Tantai Jin invited Li Susu to raise a toast to all the sins and deaths in the world. After the two drank the last glass of wine together, Tantai Jin made the magic palace reappear. Tantai Jin told Li Susu that as long as there are sins in the world - If the karma does not stop, the demon god will never die. Only when the path of compassion is shared and the world is turbid can all living beings truly return to the peace.

Li Susu thought that what the Demon God gave was a great gift, and she should return a great gift. Li Susu summoned Chong Yu, and she planned to burn Chong Yu to release her divine power, and at the same time, she started the Sacrifice Formation. In order to make Li Susu hate him to the bones, Tantai Jin sacrificed the god-killing crossbow and shot at the disciples of the immortal sect. Li Susu witnessed the tragedy five hundred years ago, and entered the world in her heart in grief and anger, and saw her mother Chuhuang and Twelve God, and then broke through the ruthless way and became a god.

Li Susu took Tantai Jin to the last place that was not devoured by the path of compassion. She understood that what Tantai Jin really wanted was to make her turn into a god and kill him. In the end, Tantai Jin crushed the bones of the evil, and was buried in the same mourning way, and the four continents and three worlds restored peace and prosperity.

Li Susu woke up in Jingguo Imperial Mausoleum, where she used her divine power to see Tantai Jin, who had become the demon god, come to Jingguo Imperial Mausoleum, put on her favorite white clothes, and engraved herself as Ye Xiwu. The tombstone also created a scene where Ye Xiwu bid farewell to Tantai Jin.  Li Susu knew all the truth, and that Tantai Jin had lied to her again, and couldn't restrain herselff from crying.

After five hundred years of turmoil, the world has finally found peace, and humans, gods, and demons can coexist harmoniously. Li Susu and her daughter travel the world, and they eventually arrive at the Mo River, where Li Susu reminisces about her time with Tantai Jin and tells her daughter the love story of Princess Sangjiu of Mohe and the God of War. In the distance, Tantai Jin can be seen.

*****In the novel, Li Susu reunites with Tantai Jin, who has been reincarnated, and the three of them live happily ever after, which the series either cut off that scene or didn't go that far into the story.
