Tiffany has reflected on her drama debut and empowering women through Girls’ Generation with Harper’s Bazaar!
On February 21, Harper’s Bazaar released a pictorial featuring Tiffany with the theme of “Forever Girl.” After the photo shoot, Tiffany joined an interview and shared her feelings about successfully making her debut on the small screen through JTBC’s “Reborn Rich” last year.
Tiffany reminisced, “I tuned into the broadcasts of ‘Reborn Rich’ each week. I had the scripts piled up next to me and [digital] files opened on my monitor to analyze while watching it. Watching the broadcasts was [a part of the] learning process too.”
When asked what advice she would give to the participants of the new idol survival show “Peak Time,” which she appears on as one of the judges, Tiffany shared, “To be a good artist, you have to be a good person. On stage, the inner energy that a person originally has is naturally released. I want them to be a person who is not only sincere but also mindful about time—to oneself, to others, and to their team members. It’s also necessary to understand one’s own feelings well because that’s what you have to express on stage.”
To wrap up the interview, the artist remarked, “It was the same during [when I was doing] Girls’ Generation activities, but as time goes by, the more I find that there is no better sanctuary in which we support, praise, and lift up one another than Girls’ Generation. I think I want to show ‘women empowerment’ through us [Girls’ Generation], and I want to show it through ‘my action’ to keep this thought. And if you are confident about yourself and sincere to yourself, I think it is essential to express yourself confidently.”
Tiffany’s full pictorial will be available in the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar.
