KBS 2TV’s “The Seasons” has been renewed for a new season with a brand-new host.
“The Seasons” is a new music talk show that changes MCs on a rotational basis, and it was originally conceived to unfold over the course of one year, with four different hosts taking over the show for one season each. Jay Park was the program’s first host last spring, and he was followed by Choi Jung Hoon in the summer, AKMU in the fall, and Lee Hyori in the winter.
On March 8, KBS officially announced that Lee Hyori’s stint as MC would end this month. The final episode of “The Seasons: Red Carpet with Lee Hyori” will be filmed on March 26, and it will air on March 29.
“As the final episode of ‘Red Carpet with Lee Hyori’ will mark the end of the show’s fourth season, we are preparing it a special format that has never been seen before on ‘The Seasons,’” said the show’s production team.
The producers also revealed that “The Seasons” has been renewed for an additional season and is slated to return with a new MC.
“After the end of ‘Red Carpet,’ we plan to continue our next season with the subsequent MC,” they said. The producers also hinted that the upcoming MC will be someone who is both a buzzworthy star and a talented musician.
