"The Player 2: Master Of Swindlers" Cast Bids Farewell To Drama With Final Remarks

The stars of tvN’s “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers” have shared their final remarks ahead of the drama’s finale!

The sequel to OCN’s hit 2018 series “The Player,” “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers” is a heist drama about a squad of talented swindlers who target the wealthy and corrupt by stealing dirty money that has been obtained through illegal means.

Song Seung Heon reprises his role as the slick con artist Kang Ha Ri, the mastermind behind the squad’s elaborate schemes. Lee Si Eon returns as the skilled hacker Lim Byung Min, and Tae Won Suk is back as the fighter Do Jin Woong. Joining the cast are Oh Yeon Seo as Jung Soo Min, a mysterious figure who lures Kang Ha Ri back into the game, and Jang Gyuri as the squad’s new driver Cha Je Yi.

Song Seung Heon reflected, “‘The Player 2’ was made with the utmost dedication and effort from our director So Jae Hyun, the crew, and all the talented actors. I hope it’s remembered as a refreshing and exhilarating drama by all of you. Personally, Kang Ha Ri is a character I hold dear, so I would love to continue with Seasons 3, 4, and even 5.”

Oh Yeon Seo expressed her gratitude, saying, “I always had such a great time filming. I’d like to sincerely thank all the viewers who have supported and loved the new character Jung Soo Min. Lee Si Eon shared, “I was genuinely happy to be part of Season 2. The teamwork and chemistry among the cast were the best. Thanks to director So Jae Hyun and the staff, I enjoyed coming to the set every day. I hope this drama remains as memorable for the viewers as it is for me.”

Tae Won Suk reminisced, “This was my first lead role after many years of supporting parts. I longed to play Do Jin Woong again because filming Season 1 made me truly happy. My wish came true, and we started filming last year, and now we’ve reached the end. Though I’m sad it’s ending, I hope viewers found it as delightful and exhilarating as I did while filming it.
