“The Law Cafe” Continues Strong As “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” Season 1 Sees Boost For Finale

 

KBS2’s new drama “The Law Cafe” is going strong!

According to Nielsen Korea, the September 6 broadcast of “The Law Cafe” garnered an average nationwide rating of 6.6 percent for the second episode. This is a 0.5 percent dip from its premiere rating of 7.1 percent.

Based on a hit web novel, “The Law Cafe” is a romantic comedy about Kim Jung Ho (Lee Seung Gi), a genius former prosecutor-turned-libertine landlord, and Kim Yu Ri (Lee Se Young), the eccentric lawyer that becomes his new tenant when she opens a “law cafe” in his building.

Season 1 of tvN’s “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” came to a close, achieving an average nationwide rating of 5.1 percent for its finale. This is close to its all-time high of 5.2 percent and a slight boost in ratings from the previous episode’s score of 4.323 percent. “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” will continue with Season 2 in January 2023.
