The second season of “Taxi Driver” has temporarily halted filming.
The cast and crew of the drama recently left for Vietnam in order to shoot overseas. However, the majority of the staff were sent into quarantine due to an outbreak of COVID-19. It is said that Lee Je Hoon and the other actors weren’t diagnosed with the virus.
On July 15, a source from “Taxi Driver 2” shared, “It is true that some of the staff members tested positive for COVID-19. After much consideration, we decided to cancel filming as we put the health of our cast and crew first.”
Regarding plans for filming in Vietnam later, they responded, “We’re discussing it.”
Starring Lee Je Hoon, Kim Eui Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yoo Ram, “Taxi Driver” is about a mysterious taxi service that delivers justice and revenge on behalf of victims who cannot get help from the law.
“Taxi Driver 2” is slated to air in the first half of 2023.
