“The Fiery Priest” Season 2 has unveiled character posters of its supporting cast!

SBS’s “The Fiery Priest,” which first aired in 2019 and recorded a peak viewership rating of 22.0 percent, is about a Catholic priest with anger management issues and a cowardly detective who work together to solve a murder case. Kim Nam Gil, Honey Lee, Kim Sung Kyun, and more from Season 1 will be reprising their roles in the upcoming season.

Joining them are Sung Joon, Seo Hyun Woo, and BIBI, who captivate attention with their character posters for Season 2.

In the poster, Sung Joon transforms into Kim Hong Sik, who showcases a striking tattoo visible through his unbuttoned shirt, along with the intriguing phrase, “One mistake, one life.” Kim Hong Sik’s cool facial expression reflects his heavy presence. After being sold abroad, Kim Hong Sik rose to the position of deputy leader. As he announces the formation of a drug cartel in Busan, tensions with the passionate priest Kim Hae Il (Kim Nam Gil) are anticipated. All eyes are now on Kim Hong Sik’s performance, which is expected to drive the suspense of the story.

Seo Hyun Woo will take on the role of corrupt prosecutor Nam Du Heon. The world has been upside down for a thousand years.” This line reveals the true nature of his character. With big ambitions and a hunger for power, Nam Du Heon, the chief prosecutor at the Busan Southern District Prosecutors’ Office, becomes involved with the drug cartel linked to Kim Hong Sik. BIBI will take on the role of passionate detective Gu Ja Young. Holding a handgun and sporting a bold expression, she warns, “Say one more word, and you’re done!” capturing the unfiltered energy of the passionate detective. Known for her tough approach, Gu Ja Young from the Busan Police Agency’s Drug Investigation Unit becomes an assistant to priest Kim Hae Il, prosecutor Park Kyung Sun (Honey Lee), and Koo Dae Young (Kim Sung Kyun). This pairing sparks curiosity about the new comedic chemistry that will develop in their partnership.
