Song Kang In Talks To Lead New Drama By “Mr. Sunshine” PD Lee Eung Bok

Song Kang is in talks to lead an upcoming drama!

On April 5, it was reported that the actor is set to play the leading role in tvN’s new drama “Sweet Home” (tentative title), which is scheduled to premiere in December.

In response, his agency Namoo Actors responded to the reports by stating, “It is true that Song Kang has received the offer and he is currently looking it over.”

“Sweet Home” will follow the story of a high school student who becomes traumatized after being bullied in school and never leaves his room. He loses his family and moves to a new apartment, and strange and mysterious things begin to happen to him. It will be a story of growth that follows the lead character as he tries to save people who have changed into monsters because of greed and begins to change his pessimistic view of society.

The drama will be based on a popular webtoon of the same name and will be led by producing director Lee Eung Bok, who has directed popular dramas such as “Descendants of the Sun,” “Goblin,” and “Mr. Sunshine.”
