The actress mentioned, “I don’t feel burdened standing in front of a camera as I age. It’s a natural process. To some extent, I try to look like I’m ‘aging more slowly than my age,’ but I don’t want to defy the natural flow of time. One can’t always maintain a bright and youthful appearance as they age. I believe lighter makeup and simple outfits make us more stylish as we grow older.”

Regarding the recent hit drama “The Glory,” she shared, “I didn’t have any personal life as Song Hye Kyo while filming ‘The Glory.’ I lived entirely as the character Moon Dong Eun from the moment I woke up until I went to bed. I felt a great void after the series ended as I no longer had to live as Dong Eun. I think it was especially because the drama was very emotional, and my character underwent human suffering. It took quite a long time, but I was able to bid her a proper farewell, which enabled me to move on to a new project.”

She also discussed her upcoming project, saying, “‘Dark Nuns’ (literal title) is a story about two nuns struggling to save a child possessed by an evil spirit. It is also a women’s film where women lead the narrative.”

Further expressing her excitement for the film, she stated, “For the occult genre, post-production process is really important. Since I’m acting while imagining the parts where CGI will be inserted, I have high expectations for how the final product will turn out. It is challenging but quite enjoyable. It’s my first time undertaking this type of acting. It’s interesting to see different facial expressions that I’ve never seen before, which are different from Dong Eun’s.”
