Shin Ye Eun Joins Kim Tae Ri In Talks For New Historical Drama

 

Shin Ye Eun may be appearing in a new historical drama that Kim Tae Ri is also in talks for!

On February 21, industry insiders reported that Shin Ye Eun will be starring in the new drama “Jung Nyeon” (romanized title).

In response to the report, Shin Ye Eun’s agency NPIO Entertainment shared, “It is a project that [she is] positively reviewing.”

Based off a webtoon of the same name, “Jung Nyeon” is set in the 1950s and tells the story of Yoon Jung Nyeon, a young girl from Mokpo who has no money or education but is born with a talented singing voice. The historical drama follows the happenings that occur when Yoon Jung Nyeon joins a women’s traditional theater company to achieve her dreams of becoming rich.

Earlier in November last year, it was reported that Kim Tae Ri is in talks for the lead role of Yoon Jung Nyeon.
