Upcoming web drama “Seasons of Blossom” (working title) released new posters!
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, drama “Seasons of Blossom” tells the story of love and friendship of 18-year-old youths at Seoyeon High School. The omniverse-style story focuses on a different main character for each of the four seasons.
Warning: Mentions of suicide below.
“Seasons of Blossom” will depict the butterfly effect that occurs when an incident from six years ago of a boy committing suicide and a girl being unable to stop him begins to affect the current teens living in the present. The story will also highlight the concerns and growth of young adults who cannot be honest and hide themselves.
The poster captures “the teenagers from the past,” Lee Ha Min (Seo Ji Hoon) and Han So Mang (So Ju Yeon), and “the teenagers in the present,” Lee Jae Min (Kim Min Kyu), Yoon Bo Mi (Kang Hye Won), and Choi Jin Young (Yoon Hyun Soo), standing side by side next to the window in an art classroom that is full of sunlight. Lee Ha Min and Han So Mang are dressed in summer school uniforms, while Lee Jae Min, Yoon Bo Mi, and Choi Jin Young are wearing spring school uniforms. Their attires hint at the difference in seasons as suggested by the text on top of the poster that reads, “Spring and summer, we stand in the middle.” The actors reproduced the poster of the original webtoon characters with a great level of synchronization, raising anticipation for a successful drama adaptation.
Beside Lee Ha Min, who appears cheerful on the outside but can be quite cynical, sits the timid yet determined Han So Mang. Next to her are Lee Jae Min, Seoyeon High School’s most popular student who always puts on a smiling face, followed by Yoon Bo Mi, the school queen who is kind and pretty, and Choi Jin Young, who looks tough on the outside but is unexpectedly kind. Anticipation is high as to what will happen between these friends.
“Seasons of Blossom” will premiere on September 21 at 5 p.m. KST.
