The third sequel depicting life at Asahiyama Zoo in Hokkaido. Once on the verge of closing down, Asahiyama Zoo was resurrected by the dedicated staff and has now become the number one zoo in Japan. Despite its popularity and flourishing business, the zookeepers strive to explore new possibilities while also improving their humble beginnings. In this new episode, young intern Kitajima joins the Asahiyama Zoo to gain experience in the field of veterinary medicine. Kitajima's high hopes of putting his knowledge into practice are quickly shunned when he is ordered to handle mediocre tasks, such as feeding the animals. He is met with further disappointment and even a slight sense of bewilderment when he is given advice by the veteran zookeeper Bannai that their job is to "face and learn from each animal." Will Kitajima be able to adjust to life at Asahiyama In the meantime, other zookeepers are facing new challenges of their own: Sawako struggles to make peace with her ill-stricken father while other zookeepers must come up with fresh ideas on creating a unique display area for the wolves.
