Red Velvet’s latest comeback is off to a strong start!
On November 13, Red Velvet made their highly-anticipated return with their new album “Chill Kill” and its title track of the same name. Immediately upon its release, the album soared to the top of iTunes charts in numerous countries across the globe.
As of November 14, “Chill Kill” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 35 different regions, including Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Sweden, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, Ireland, Poland, Luxembourg, Colombia, Chile, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Norway, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Brunei, Ukraine, Israel, Mexico, Qatar, Finland, Hungary, Oman, Argentina, Malta, Peru, and Bolivia.
“Chill Kill” also topped both QQ Music’s and KuGou Music’s digital album sales chart in China, as well as AWA’s realtime chart in Japan.
Meanwhile, the album’s title track “Chill Kill” hit No. 1 on both Bugs’ and Vibe’s realtime charts in Korea.
