In Today’s Webtoon Episode 9, Ma-eum and Jun-yeong rush to the police station because Dae-ryuk has been involved in a physical assault case and he is the victim. Dae-ryuk tried to draw a woman and her boyfriend assaulted him, thinking he was trying to harass her. Dae-ryuk has underlying childhood trauma because of a woman and he tried to draw a woman resembling her. Ma-eum is disappointed in Dae-ryuk because she wanted to give him the good news about his webtoon.
Dae-ryuk respects Ma-eum more than anyone else and gets scared that she will not support him anymore. He apologizes to her for his behaviour and promises to be careful. For him, she is the only one who believed in him and supported him when no one else did and he is grateful to her for that. Ma-eum forgives him and tells him to not value his cartoons more than people.

Lee Woo-jin’s new webtoon, Full Count has debuted on NEON and it has been receiving good reviews. It is Jun Yeong’s first project as well and he is proud of himself. Things are going good at the NEON webtoon service team but not for Heo who wants to see the team fall and he questions Jun-yeong whether he is still working along with their plan. Ji-hyeong is happy for his juniors but he is still thinking about the offer from YoungToon. Rumours have started to spread slowly that YoungToon is looking for a new editor and Ji-hyeong is in the talks.
Jang Man-chul has located artist Ma Hae-gyu’s residence and takes Ma-eum and Jun-yeong with him. Artist Ma has written the legendary comic book series, Please! Time Machine, and Man-chul plan to convert it into a webtoon. The artist’s house doesn’t look in a good condition and no one answers the door. Ma’s daughter Yu Na arrives and lets them in. Artist Ma has turned into an alcoholic and refuses Man-chul’s proposal. His daughter looks pitiful from having to work along with studying because her father doesn’t do anything. Ma-eum tells her to contact her if she needs anything.

Dae-ryuk’s webtoon, Weapon Feeb also debuts on the platform and works even better than Full Count. The webtoon service team is in a good mood as both of their new webtoons are in the top 5 which shows the webtoon camp was a success. While they celebrate, Ma-eum gets a call from Yu Na for help. Ma-eum gets to know Yu Na more and invites her to her comic book cafe. Yu Na hated her father and his comics but she finds out that her deceased mother also loved her father’s comics, after she reads one for the first time.
Ma Eum drops Yu Na and runs into Artist Ma on her way back. She asks him to think whether his cartoons are his best masterpiece or if it is his daughter. Yu Na and Artist Ma get into an argument and the father cries to his daughter that he has no identity if he is not a cartoonist. Yu Na asks him to just be an ordinary father to her as he has already had his glory as an artist. Ma visits NEON and signs the contract for the remake of his comic books. He mentions to Man-chul that he is thankful to Ma-eum for showing him his real masterpiece.
Jun-yeong and Ma-eum have been spending a lot of time together and Jun-yeong has developed a crush on her. He visits his deceased sister at the columbarium on her birthday and it seems like she is always watching him like a guardian angel. Jun-yeong helped Ma-eum pick up a gift for her father but when he refused to accept it, Jun-yeong stepped up and asked Ma-eum to give it to him as if he is trying to confess his feelings to her.
