Recap Korean Drama "The Killer's Shopping List" Episode 7

The Killer’s Shopping List (살인자의 쇼핑목록) is a 2022 South Korean Comedy Thriller based on the novel of the same name by Kang Ji-young. The drama is directed by Lee Eon-hee and features Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Seol-hyun (Seolhyun of AOA) and Jin Hee-kyung in lead roles. The Killer’s Shopping List Episode 7 has a runtime of 61 minutes.

In The Killer’s Shopping List Episode 7, ‘Five Dollars’ starts fighting with Dae-sung’s dad over who is the real murderer. Yul’s father is shopping there and runs out after he hears that Dae-sung has gone out to deliver products to Yul. He goes there and finds Dae-sung asking Yul if her father hurts her and telling her that she can come live with his mother if she doesn’t want to live with her father and is scared of him.

Yul says that her father doesn’t hurt her and she doesn’t want to leave him. Her father tells Dae-sung to leave Yul alone but later at home, he interrogates Yul again. He has been packing bags to go out and tells Yul that he is going to meet her mother. When Yul says that she has lost her mother’s phone, her father takes his belt in hand, intending to hit her. He is an abusive father and the reason why Yul has wounds on her hand.

From MS Mart, the product lady is the only remaining suspect now and everyone is looking for evidence against her. Though they don’t find anything suspicious weapon in her bag, they find her diary and it has names of single women highlighted. Dae-sung and his mother follow her, only to find out that she has been especially looking out for women living alone because she cared and worried about them. She hit a man the other day because he often bothered his ex-girlfriend.

The police detective is keeping an eye on Dae-sung in the mart. He is adamant about proving Dae-sung as the killer instead of looking for other clues. Yul comes in again and Dae-sung purposefully spills Cola on her clothes. While changing her clothes, Dae-sung’s mom finds out wounds and bruises all over her body. Yul refuses to get treatment because she is scared that her father will send her to the orphanage.

The Killer’s Shopping List Episode 7 Ending

The police detective has seen everything happening in front of his eyes but denies acting on it because he is not in charge. However, Dae-sung goes to her father’s store, Geumsang Realty and asks the detective to follow him so that he won’t suspect him of anything new again. Dae-sung breaks into the store and finds a secret room behind a wallpaper. He finds Yul’s lost shoes and a glue gun as well.

Dae-sung explains everything about Yul’s involvement in the case to the detective. As Dae-sung goes on telling, the detective realizes something big that they had missed on. They checked every person who bought the items from the Killer’s Shopping List except Yul because she was a kid. Yul’s father appears suddenly and before the detective could arrest him, he stabs the detective in the stomach, locks Dae-sung in the room and runs away. He calls Yul to come to meet her mother but threatens her to not tell anyone.

In The Killer’s Shopping List Episode 7, the killer has been revealed but has not been caught yet. Yul’s father has been abusive and Yul knows about the killer but refuses to speak for fear of her father. She has been mentally traumatized by him and he tells her that she is the reason her mom is sick and won’t return home. Her father looks naive but is actually an evil person.
