Kiss Sixth Sense (키스 식스 센스) is a romantic-fantasy Korean drama series directed by Nam Ki-hoon and stars Yoon Kye-sang, Seo Ji-hye, Kim Ji-suk and Hwang Bo-ra, alongside other cast members. The series has 12 episodes, each with a runtime of around an hour. The series is based on the webtoon of the same name by Gatnyeo. Kiss Sixth Sense episode 6 has a runtime of 61 minutes.
Starting off this episode with a jealous Min-hu going to Ye-sool’s apartment to find out whether she’s at home or not, he turns into the knight in shining armour when he hears her confused questions asking what’s going on and who’s there. Hearing Min-hu coming in, the robber runs away and Min-hu comforts her and they then call the police.
When the police leave, Ye-sool and Min-hu head to the office to sleep since her apartment is trashed and on the way, thanks to a rogue driver, Ye-sool remembers what she saw the other night in his car when Min-hu kissed her. She saw them together, giggling and kissing each other. They looked so happy together! The prediction shocks her and she wonders what is going on – it looks like they will be dating and that Min-hu will be very much into her.

As Eom-ji and Ye-sool talk about how Min-hu was looking at her with honey in his eyes, Min-hu listens in on their conversation with his super hearing. Eom-ji tells her that they might have already started liking each other and that maybe they are on their way to date – or are they already? Ye-sool tells her that they aren’t right now and laments about remembering the events of that night. Although her friend isn’t able to make out what Ye-sool is saying, Min-hu looks quite surprised and a little bit satisfied.
As if the situation couldn’t get worse, the car pictures get leaked on an online forum and all hell breaks loose – Pil-yo wonders what to do now while Min-hu gets talked to by the other heads as well as the VP. Interestingly, the VP understands that the stunt was to insult and discredit Min-hu, not to share the picture itself. They then tipped off Mopix – the VP then asks him whether he has anyone in mind who would do something like this. Plus, he asks him to complete the project successfully and transfers Ye-sool to Planning Team 2.

Pil-yo and Min-hu, in their shared sorrow of losing Ye-sool to the other team, decide to do a great job with the trailer to bring back Mopix’s faith in the team and get Ye-sool back. Meanwhile, Ye-sool puts in her best at Planning Team 2 but the lead, being quite insecure, tries to give her a hard time. That night, Ye-sool goes to the police to report the break-in but is shocked to learn that Min-hu gave a hilariously in-depth account of his thoughts on the burglar and the incident. Even the officer was impressed!
Back at her home, Ye-sool is shocked to see Min-hu installing cameras and reinforcements in her home. With no idea about what’s going on, she thinks back to all the times Min-hu came to save her and right in the middle of his security camera demonstration, she asks him whether he likes her. He, too, quite casually tells her that he does, in fact, like her, and then runs off, leaving her shocked. This is peak romance guys. Peak romance.
Anyway, she follows him outside and starts asking him a ton of questions, ending in whether he’s a psychopath for screaming at a woman he’s interested in. He answers all of her questions and then asks her when she’ll give him an answer. Surprisingly, Pil-yo answers for him, telling Ye-sool that she should take as much time as she needs to find an answer to this question. They then share an intense look and go to a restaurant to talk – the pissing contest is absolutely hilarious and mildly embarrassing for two grown men to do.

Anyway, after a heavy night of drinking, both of them pass out and Ye-sool calls Pil-yo’s AD to get him while she takes Min-hu home. Well, she takes him to her house and lets him sleep off on her couch. The next day at the office, Min-hu and Ye-sool have an awkward conversation about and then they go into defence mode after their shoot location gets wet thanks to a freak shower.
They change locations and finally do have the shoot and afterwards, Ye-sool and Min-hu have a conversation where he asks her what they have in their future together. Ye-sool remembers back to the night when he crashed at her place and that these sneaky kids had, in fact, made out in order to re-affirm her vision of their future. She saw the two of them living happily together, him cooking for her, them laughing and kissing. As he asks her again what they should do, Ye-sool proposes that they start dating.
I don’t think I am capable of discussing Ye-sool’s future prediction surrounding her relationship with Min-hu. Man, they look so good together! The chemistry that they share is stunning and now that the series has definitely found its footing around what to show and how much, it shows that it can do wonders when it focuses mostly on the couple and their problems and then peppering in some office drama.

Speaking of office drama, I am pumped to find out who leaked the pictures. As the VP said, it was to discredit Min-hu. But even then, who could it have been? The story has taken a good turn and has created some situations that really is working well towards creating a mystery that keeps us intrigued. It’s clear that Min-hu and Ye-sool will be happy together. However, what will Pil-yo do when he gets to know? Will he be able to take it?
Regardless of my liking for Min-hu, though, I must say that his controlling tendencies are quite annoying sometimes. Plus, that scene where he and Pil-yo have that drinking competition for no reason is just so annoying when the woman whom they are fighting over is just there standing in front of them. It’s not like she will fawn over the man who drinks the most and lives to tell the tale. That being said, I found it hilarious and totally silly.
Also, we didn’t see too much of Ji-young, so that’s always a plus.
All in all, a very enjoyable couple of episodes this week for Kiss Sixth Sense. Let’s see how the dates go next week!
