Change Days is a Korean dating reality TV series with hosts Jang Do-yeon, Code Kunst, Yang Se-chan and Heo Young-ji. Change Days season 2 episode 2 has a runtime of 70 minutes.
Netflix describes the series as:
If everyone remembers, we left off in the last episode with the creators asking the women whether they would like to go out again with their partners for the day. In Change Days episode 2, we get to know that the men were asked the same question, but while they were already on the date.

Relating with a dating reality TV series almost feels sinful but there’s just something infectious about Change Days that watching it is almost sweet. Change Days season 2 episode 2 starts off with the backstories of our couples and why they have decided to come to the show. As the hosts, too, weigh in with their stories and opinions, it creates a set of intense and very different stories that will honestly make you think. At some point, you might also find some of these things in your own life.
Also, if you thought you were excited to know who got the texts and what everyone’s answers were – don’t worry, even the hosts were super excited. I am continuing to love this show’s hosts, who are just so excited about everything that’s going on and are adding a fantastic conversation to them. It’s a nice layer of dialogue that adds fuel to the fire which only we get to see, of course.

Anyway, within the first half an hour, we get several heartfelt and real stories and then the most awkward situation that increases the drama up by several notches right there in the middle of dinner. And oh dear, what a delicious drama it is! Even the hosts are taken aback by the show’s decision to do it so boldly in front of everyone. But then, the show has been go-go-go from the first episode itself so I don’t blame it for taking the highway from the first moment in this episode as well.
The reason why I am really enjoying this show is that the reactions of the contestants are just so real. You see their betrayal, hurt, anger, awkwardness and a whole host of emotions on their faces and their body language. Even when Tae-wan acts like a complete child – the hosts have something very funny to say at that moment! Either way, as their reactions and emotions change, you feel the emotions weighing heavy on you or making you feel giddy as well – depending on the situation, of course.

However, behind these heavy feelings are quiet whispers of planning for another date. It’s actually cute watching the formative couples making plans behind the night’s veil so that their original partners won’t overhear them. It’s sad for them, but hey, you choose to come here. What did you expect? Anyway, the series, thankfully for our sanities, doesn’t send the couples on another date. But it’s not necessary – the heavy conversations and extremely awkward situations that night after the dinner are enough to make anyone just die a little inside.
It was intense, to say the least. As the realisation of another date dawns on the original partners, friction starts to bubble up and the fight that ensues among some is not just intense but also heartbreaking and cold. You feel for the partners who get to see their significant others just go off with someone else on a second date. It was expected, but the feelings don’t just dissipate just because you know the possibility of an upcoming situation. In that scenario, the reactions that these people give are so real that you genuine feel sad too.

Change Days season 2 episode 2 is just as immersive an episode as the last. Even without going on any dates, the episode delivers some great entertainment within the confines of a house. The episode has me excited for next week – what happens when the new couples do go on the dates?!
