Much to everyone’s surprise, Gu Tae-su complains to the police that Han-jun is the one who wanted to harm him the other night and as evidence shows that he has burned his arm where his burn mark previously was. Frustrated, he punches Tae-su and is immediately put in a cell. Funnily enough, Han-jun takes Tae-su’s blood from his knuckles and asks Jae-hui to give it to Su-cheol so that they can run tests.
Later, Jae-hui and Du-jin speak to Tae-su, who seems very calm about the entire matter and, surprisingly, agrees to a DNA test when he is told that he won’t be a suspect if his DNA doesn’t match. On the other hand, Oracle Im has a meeting with the who’s who of the country. They seem to be fascinated with Im and her powers.

Do-won, meanwhile, learns of a civil system based on corruption and nepotism and, funnily enough, everyone is invested in Joyce Entertainment. Back at the police station, Han-jun shares a jail cell with a bunch of delinquents. As Han-jun solves a random murder, Jae-hui gets to know that Jae-hui’s DNA doesn’t match, and Chul-geun suspends Jae-hui over it.
Outside, Do-won meets Gu Tae-su for some reason and Jae-hui lets Han-jun know that the DNA results did not match. Han-jun isn’t surprised and says that someone must’ve switched out the evidence. A desperate Jae-hui asks Han-jun to work with her so that they can catch the killer together. However, he refuses to team up with her with the excuse that she won’t be able to break the rules like him, and it might result in them both ending up dead.

Outside the station, Su-cheol tells Han-jun that the DNA results match, and the latter mentions that it’s like 3 years ago – someone has tampered with the evidence. At Minamdang, the team come to the conclusion that whoever is controlling Gu Tae-su is the real Gopuri. They proceed to hack the Chief of Police’s computer, and Chul-geun falls for the obvious scam.
However, all that takes a backseat when Deacon Kim comes to Minamdang to bless her children. It’s total pandemonium from here on out, and the drama is out of this world! Anyway, they get the priest in on the plan, who can’t help but take Han-jun’s side.

On the other hand, Du-jin and Do-won meet up with Jae-hui to share some juicy information about Han-jun’s case and that it was totally founded on lies and fabricated information. Furthermore, they also learn that the DNA results are a match with Tae-su, even the ones from Han-jun’s case. They decide to keep this information to themselves until things are sorted out.
The next day, Hye-jun confirms that the Chief is being blackmailed thanks to his son’s gambling habits. Overhearing him lamenting his son’s invariable loss of a limb in the future, Han-jun places himself into Chul-geun’s life, who desperately asks him to help his son. He agrees to help him, but on a condition.

Later, Na-dan goes into a gambling den to place a recorder inside. Once that’s done, Han-jun and Su-cheol go inside to show the table some supernatural magic. After they win big, Han-jun asks Dae-tong for a match – his luck against Han-jun’s powers. The two get into a game, fair and square this time, where the stakes are quite high – Han-jun is at the risk of losing his hand.
After an intense game of cards, where both fight with all their might and bluff a ton, Han-jun wins, leaving everyone speechless. Han-jun gives him an offer to take the Chief’s son, and in turn, he can keep all the money. After an explanation of how he got to know that one of his men was reading Han-jun’s cards, Dae-tong is left happily surprised and asks Han-jun to get out with the kid.

Han-jun meets the Chief later and lets him know that three disasters are waiting for him that can be warded off by using Jae-hui. Meanwhile, Jae-hui and Do-won go out to find evidence from Han-jun’s case but talking to Cheong-gi turns out to be a dead end. While going back home, she is called back to the precinct by the Chief.
Jae-hui is taken by surprise when she meets the Chief, who tells her that she’s back on the case, albeit secretly. She realises that Han-jun had something to do with this turn of events and looks smitten by him, someone whom she has misunderstood for so long but who was trying to do the right thing from the start.
She mentions that she wants to be by Han-jun’s side now that she knows everything, and this takes Do-won by surprise, who looks like he’s about to cry at Jae-hui’s confession. He tries to stop Jae-hui from running to Han-jun, but she is resolved to stay with Han-jun and help him, and Do-won doesn’t have any option but to look extremely uncomfortable.
At Minamdang, Han-jun and the team discuss whom to talk to to get some information on Tae-su and Gopuri and Jae-hui, inviting herself into the house, records the entire thing and asks Han-jun to explain himself.
She again proposes to work together, and when he refuses, she handcuffs herself to him and tells him that she knows why he’s doing all this and that it’s beneficial for them to work together. She then lets the big secret out – she’s Jae-jeong’s sister. Han-jun is left shocked and speechless.
In the epilogue, Choekang Group’s Cha Seung-won oversees a phone conversation where Chief Kim gets a serious talking to about why Gu Tae-su was still at the station.
Still From Cafe Minamdang Episode 10
I am constantly taken aback by Cafe Minamdang. No, really. Just, the show is so bold that it shocks me every week,
This week, the craziest thing that Han-jun has done is win against a gambling boss and figure out who killed a random thug’s brother with little to no evidence at his disposal. It’s just so outlandish that it’s funny, and Seo In-guk plays this character with much enthusiasm – I can’t help but be charmed by the charming shaman!
On the other hand, I am glad that Jae-hui’s character has evened out a bit. Before the last episode, she was a bit much. I mean, I understand having a crazy cop character, but she was just a hundred decibels too much.
Anyway, Cafe Minamdang episode 10 introduces the crime ecosystem well and gives us just a glimpse into the depth of corruption. The antagonists seem formidable, and although Han-jun almost seems like Sherlock Holmes, with that kind of reach, I wonder how far he’d be able to go.
Also, don’t forget that Han-jun and his family live alone in Minamdang, so if someone commits arson on his house, then he’d die before he would be able to wake up at night. I think his careless boldness is quite attractive, and maybe that’s what draws Jae-hui to him as well.
That, and the fact that he genuinely cares about his family as well as Jae-jeong. Han-jun and Jae-jui and almost in love, and I am just waiting to see when they will finally propose to each other. It’s coming, guys. Give it a few more episodes.
