JTBC’s “Reborn Rich” is now the drama with the second highest ratings in cable TV history!
On December 18, the fantasy revenge drama starring Song Joong Ki soared to its highest viewership ratings yet ahead of the final week of its run. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the drama scored an average nationwide rating of 24.9 percent, marking a significant jump from its previous episode the night prior.
Not only did the ratings mark a new personal best for the drama, but “Reborn Rich” has overtaken “SKY Castle” to achieve the second-highest viewership ratings of any cable drama in history. (“SKY Castle” achieved the highest ratings of its run during its finale, which earned an average nationwide rating of 23.8 percent.)
“Reborn Rich” is now second only to the smash 2020 hit “The World of the Married,” which holds the current record for the highest drama ratings in the history of any Korean cable network: a nationwide average of 28.4 percent.
With two episodes still left to go on December 24 and 25, industry watchers are eagerly waiting to see just how much higher “Reborn Rich” will climb in its final week.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of “Reborn Rich”!
