Upcoming TVING drama “Death’s Game” (working title) has issued a statement regarding the inappropriate behavior of its staff.
Recently, a netizen claimed to have been verbally abused by a staff member of the drama after taking a picture at the request of a tourist while passing by COEX in Seoul. The netizen claimed to have been unaware of the drama filming because the shooting site was far away and covered by a sculpture.
It was later revealed that the staff member in question was working on the site of Seo In Guk and Park So Dam’s upcoming drama “Death’s Game.”
On May 15, the production team responded to the claim with the following statement:
"This is the production team of “Death’s Game.”
We have confirmed that last week, there was inappropriate behavior by an assistant staff hired for the day to help organize and guide the filming location.
We sincerely apologize for causing discomfort and not being more careful during the production process.
Going forward, we’ll do a better job of managing the site to make sure such unpleasant incident doesn’t happen again."
Based on a popular webtoon, “Death’s Game” tells the story of a man who gets more than one second chance at life after facing death. The drama is set to premiere in the second half of the year.
