Pianist Cho plays with baritone Goerne

Cho Seong-jin, winner of the 17th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition, and German baritone Matthias Goerne, "master of Schubert," will perform together in Seoul on Wednesday.
Goerne is known for the extra care he takes in choosing the musicians he plays with.

Their Seoul concert is the second in their three-leg tour, starting in Gyeonju Sunday, The last leg is at the Tongyeong International Music Foundation, Saturday.
Goerne has recorded all of Schubert's music over the past 10 years. During the Korean tour, Goerne will play a number of pieces he has not performed here before. They are, among others, Der Wanderer D 489, Wehmut D 772' and Der liebliche Stern D 862.
