Park Young Woon And Park Jung Woo Are Cursed To Love Each Other In Upcoming BL Drama “Director Who Buys Me Dinner”

The drama adaptation of the popular BL webtoon “Director Who Buys Me Dinner” has unveiled its poster and release date!

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Director Who Buys Me Dinner” is a romantic comedy that will tell the love story of Min Yoo Dam, who has gone through four reincarnations and remembers all his past lives, and Seol Dong Baek, a cursed child of a god who can only stay alive by dating Min Yoo Dam, as they embark on a journey to find true love and get rid of their curse.

Park Young Woon will star as Min Yoo Dam, a strange company director who doesn’t age as he waits hundreds of years for Dong Baek and Dong Baek alone to break his curse, while Park Jung Woo will play Seol Dong Baek, an unfortunate new employee with big dreams who finds himself on the strange director’s blacklist right from his first day of work.

On November 29, BL content platform Heavenly commented, “‘Director Who Buys Me Dinner,’ which has been receiving attention from domestic and foreign BL fans on Kakao Page and Ridibooks since 2020, will be adapted into a drama. Please look forward to what kind of romance the drama version of ‘Director Who Buys Me Dinner’ will deliver to make viewers’ hearts flutter.”

The upcoming drama will be helmed by Yang Kyung Hee, the director of popular BL dramas such as “The Tasty Florida” and “Kissable Lips.” Yang Eun Ji, the author of the original webtoon, remarked, “I hope the public will enjoy the imaginative fantasy of this office drama, with its not-too-heavy storyline and characters, which will subtly move hearts with its story about memories and relationships.”

“Director Who Buys Me Dinner” will premiere on December 15.
