SBS’s upcoming drama “The Killing Vote” has shared new stills of Park Hae Jin and Lim Ji Yeon!
Based on the popular Kakao webtoon of the same name, “The Killing Vote” asks the question “What is your idea of justice?” and delves into the concept of a nationwide death penalty vote against vicious criminals who deftly manage to escape the law’s blind spots. The drama highlights the story of a mysterious figure known as “Dog Mask,” who executes the death penalty depending on the results of the vote, and the police who are pursuing him.
Park Hae Jin plays Kim Moo Chan, the head of Team 1 of the regional investigation unit at the Southern Provincial Police Agency. He is the youngest man to become the team leader of a regional investigation unit in the shortest period of time, and he is eager to make any interesting case his.
Lim Ji Yeon plays the role of Joo Hyun, a fifth-year lieutenant at the Cyber Security Bureau of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. Joo Hyun was once the ace of the Cyber Investigation Team after being specially hired, but now she has become known by everyone to be a nuisance who is always under fire.
Kim Moo Chan and Joo Hyun, who have completely different personalities and investigation styles, team up with a common goal of tracking down “Dog Mask.”
The newly released stills offer a glimpse into the alliance between Kim Moo Chan and Joo Hyun. Whether they’re standing side by side at the scene of an incident, staring intently at something, or throwing themselves to the ground together, the two characters convey the urgency of the situation through their piercing eyes and expressions.
The production team of “The Killing Vote” commented, “In the drama, Kim Moo Chan and Joo Hyun will work together as police officers to track down ‘Dog Mask.’ As this is a hard-boiled chase thriller, there’s a lot of intense action.”
They continued, “Park Hae Jin and Lim Ji Yeon are actors who boast great acting skills individually. Together, they have the perfect acting chemistry. Please look forward to seeing their dynamic team play.”
“The Killing Vote” premieres on August 10 at 9 p.m. KST.
