Park Eun Bin’s Agency And Drama Production Company Deny Reports About Her Pay Rate

Park Eun Bin’s agency and the production company of a drama she is in talks for have refuted the report regarding her high pay rate.

On January 29, Newsen reported that while Park Eun Bin is currently in talks to star in the new drama “Hyper Knife” (literal title), her agency proposed a pay rate of 300 million won (approximately $224,500) per episode, and that it is likely to be finalized between 250 million (approximately $187,000) and 300 million won.

In response to the report, a representative of Namoo Actors made a brief yet firm statement saying, “It is not true.”

On the same day, the CEO of Blaad Studio, the production company of the new drama “Hyper Knife” that Park Eun Bin is in talks for, also responded, “We came across the report that actress Park Eun Bin’s pay rate is being discussed at 300 million won per episode, but this is not true. It is a completely different story.”

He continued, “It is true that we are fondly in talks with actress Park Eun Bin as we prepare for this project, but we have not signed a contract, and we have only met once or twice for positive discussions. We have not even discussed the payment in detail yet.”

“Hyper Knife” is a medical crime thriller drama that tells the story of a doctor and murderer reuniting with her teacher who caused her to hit rock bottom. Writer Kim Seon Hee of the webtoon “Bangjungsa” (romanized title) and the OCN original series “God’s Quiz: Reboot” is in charge of writing the script. Park Eun Bin was reportedly offered to play the role of Jung Se Ok, a psychopathic doctor who is crazy about human brain studies and considers human lives to be less valuable than those of bugs.
