Pandora Beneath the Paradise episode 2 begins with Tae-ra realising her true identity along with the fact that she is the one who killed Hae-soo’s father when people from the hospital surround her and begin their attack. However, they are unable to do anything to her as her fighting instincts surface and she counterattacks them all.
The hospital manager Jo Yoo-tae then arrives and orders his men to seize her but they once again fail and Tae-ra is soon able to escape. Elsewhere, Hae-soo is denied any information about No. 50 from the hospital but gets a secret note from someone telling her that they will help her get the information she needs. Later, she gets a message from Tae-ra telling her to leave without her.
Elsewhere, Kim Seon-deok asks Yoo-tae about how Hae-soo got No. 50’s photograph and how was it possible for their secret room to be intruded on. She thinks about the presumed dead No. 50 while denying any possibility of her being alive.
On the other hand, Do-jin announces to the press that meeting Red would not be possible at the moment after which they continue their investigation of the situation. The security cameras show an employee entering the room and they are soon able to lock down on their target.
Meanwhile, Tae-ra confronts Yoo-ra about her identity and finds out that the real Tae-ra died in a car accident years back and she was a replacement for Yoo-ra’s sister. Tae-ra demands to know about the identity of the person behind this scheme but gets nothing out of Yoo-ra, except for a threat that if she dares to defy that person then trouble is sure to befall her family.
Tae-ra is unable to process all this and soon leaves while Yoo-ra soon calls up the person who is behind this to let them know that their deal now ends as Tae-ra has recovered her memories. However, she is told that the deal is not off until they say so and seeing as she has really fallen for Do-jin, they would harm him if she defies them.
Elsewhere, Seon-deok finds out that Tae-ra is none other than No. 50 herself which angers her as she demands an explanation from Yoo-tae. He tells her that he never found her body but he is sure that she was dead because of her injuries. Angered by the situation, Seon-deok decides to go meet Jae-hyun.

Meanwhile, Tae-ra is in a haste and starts packing to leave the country while asking her daughter’s nanny to bring her back. She also tries to contact her husband but is unable to get through when suddenly someone holds her from behind and Yoo-tae appears in front of her.
He tries to take her back with her to the hospital but she once again fights back and is able to alert the security as well as Hae-soo who is waiting outside her house. She manages to escape Yoo-tae and Hae-soo takes care of her after the incident, however, Tae-ra is unable to face her after what she did in the past.
Hae-soo then notices a prosthetic ear that had fallen off of Tae-ra while she tried fighting Yoo-tae, but Tae-ra quickly diverts her attention and tells her that she is now fine. After Hae-soo leaves, Tae-ra then begins to think about the past and cannot stop the guilt she feels towards Hae-soo.

She tells them about No. 50’s younger brother, No. 50’s ear and how the hospital is a dangerous place which is not easy to leave. She then leaves before she can speak any further, but is soon kidnapped by the people from the hospital. Hae-soo is then alert by this and realises that the hospital is behind them.
Elsewhere, Jae-hyun gets evidence against the suspect which makes him spill the truth and how a political party was behind the killing of Red. This triggers the three and makes them realise that this was done because Jae-hyun refused their offer to join them. Jae-hyun is angered by this and tells them to not reveal this yet as he will take care of what is to come next.
Later, Tae-ra is finally able to get through her call with Jae-hyun but is told that he won’t be able to talk to her for long because of some ongoing problems. The next day, he barges into a press conference of the same political party and confronts them about Red’s death before making sure to leave behind a warning.

He then makes her drive to a secluded area where he tries to kill her but fails again as she barely manages to escape him after striking his eye with a wooden stick. She then makes her way to Hatch where she sees Jae-hyun announcing his single president candidacy in front of the media while her daughter is seen standing next to Seon-deok.
This image brings to her the memories of her younger brother who too was made to stand next to Seon-deok.
Another thrilling episode that brought in a flood of information, but while the details are a lot, let us not forget that this is just the second episode. Episode 2 has definitely brought in enough action scenes along with revelations that have got our minds working overtime once again, and we are surely working our way through these details.
Did Yoo-ra really leave on her own or was the organisation who planned all this behind her disappearance? What did Seon-deok say to Jae-hyun, and was that talk the push he needed to stand for the elections or was it really the death of Red? And where is Tae-ra’s brother?
The questions are once again arising and we know that these can be the key to something bigger than what we have imagined. This drama is really taking things to the next level because let us not forget that Jae-hyun is directly aiming for the presidential elections.
