Pandora: Beneath the Paradise (2023) Episode 10

Pandora Beneath the Paradise episode 10 begins with Tae-ra coming to save the day after Hae-soo falls into Jae-hyun’s trap. Pil-seung joins her and takes Hae-soo back to a secret place while Tae-ra rushes to Hatch after getting a call from Yeong-hwee.

At Hatch, Kyo-jin wakes up from his slumber after Sung-chan leaves and hacks the security system there to leave behind their backs quietly. However, Sung-chan notices that something is wrong and sees Kyo-jin leaving Hatch with his mother after which he contacts security to stop the two.

Unfortunately, Sung-chan fails as Kyo-jin manages to leaves Hatch with Yeong-hwee and Tae-ra’s help. Later, Jae-hyun arrives at the scene and is angered by what has happened which only increases after Sung-chan points out the fact that Kyo-jin must have been listening to their discussions this whole time.

Elsewhere, Kyo-jin finds out about Geun-mo and shows concern but Yeong-hwee stops him while Do-jin takes care of his father while remembering Hae-soo. Meanwhile, Hae-soo finally wakes up to Tae-ra who then reveals everything that has happened while also confessing that she killed her father.
Hae-soo is struck by this and cannot stop blaming Tae-ra while crying for having trusted her so much, finally, she tells Tae-ra that she has to continue living with Jae-hyun and wait for the punishment that she will prepare for her someday. Tae-ra does not say anything and walks off to Pil-seung where she gives him evidence proving the relationship between Jae-hyun and Seon-deok which needs to be passed on to the opposition party leader.

Meanwhile, Do-jin finds out about what has happened at Hatch and Jae-hyun tells him that Kyo-jin must have had his doubts about them because of which he didn’t let anyone know that he was fine. Jae-hyun then points at the message left behind by Kyo-jin who is asking for Su-jeong’s location which takes the three down to the secret that they have hidden this whole time.
The three had tried testing their smart patch on the disabled Su-jeong behind Kyo-jin’s back, however, it did not go as expected and resulted in her losing her life. The three then made this a secret between themselves while Jae-hyun hid the body after having lost in the bet they made during the race the next day.

It was the same race where Kyo-jin met with an accident. The three then think about rushing their plans to introduce the smart patch to all while Do-jin is given the responsibility to stop Kyo-jin. The next day, Tae-ra comes back home while Jae-hyun prepares for the first presidential candidates’ debate.

However, what he doesn’t know is that there is a surprise waiting for him there as Pil-seung has already handed the evidence to the opposition leader. So while Tae-ra reveals Jae-hyun’s truth to Kyo-jin and Yeong-hwee, Jae-hyun is proven as a dishonest leader in front of the public which brings his reliability down.

Pandora Beneath the Paradise episode 10 ends with Jae-hyun finding out that Pil-seung was the one to deliver the evidence to the opposition leader and gives the order to kill him while Tae-ra packs up Jiu’s bags and prepares to send her to France. She doesn’t give her any false hopes and tells Jiu to take care of herself as it may take a while before their reunion.

She then goes to visit her parents’ memorial with Pil-seung after which she sends the two off together to France. Elsewhere, Geun-mo dreams of the moments before Ko Tae-sun’s death when he showed his willingness to help his friend after which Geun-mo tried to stop the assassination. However, it was too late and he ended up losing a friend because of this.

He then wakes up to see Yeong-hwee standing next to him with papers to transfer shares and is left unable to resist while she takes his thumb impression on those papers. Elsewhere, Tae-ra collects evidence against herself and is ready to mess up Jae-hyun’s life while the latter is angered by the situation of his candidacy.

When coming back home he stops upon finding Hae-soo standing in the middle of the road. A flashback shows that Pil-seung actually revealed the real truth to Hae-soo and told her that he is the real killer and not Tae-ra and everything else.

We are then brought back to the present where Hae-soo is still thinking about his words and realises that Jae-hyun has an even bigger role in all this. She then breaks into tears in front of him and reveals that Do-jin tried to kill her after which she faints on him.
Pandora Beneath the Paradise Episode 10 Review
The show has entered the second phase and it is really getting intriguing with each passing episode. We are brought face to face with crosses roads between a couple who could’ve been perfect together (Tae-ra and Kyo-jin) and someone who seems to have another sin to add to his list.

It is pretty clear that Jae-hyun is the one who cut the ropes which resulted in Kyo-jin’s accident, but let us look for the real revelation so that there isn’t any new plot twist. On the other hand, this episode began with a beautiful and fateful incident between Tae-ra and Kyo-jin which has certainly melted my heart.

However, this episode also pointed at something that can break all hell loose because Jae-hyun has sent someone to kill Pil-seung while Tae-ra has sent Jiu with Pil-seung. Let us hope that there isn’t a double calamity waiting over her and keep our fingers crossed.
