OCN’s new drama “Watcher” has confirmed its main cast

Han Suk Kyu, Seo Kang Joon, and Kim Hyun Joo were all in talks to join the drama, and they are now all confirmed for the main lead

"WATCHER" is a psychological thriller that delves into the reality of power. It follows the story of three men and women who join a special anti-corruption police investigation unit after their lives are shattered by a dramatic event.

Han Suk Kyu will play the role of Do Chi Kwang, the head of the anti-corruption team. He was a thoughtful, elite police but after a series of events, he uncovers corruption in the police force and realizes the importance of internal monitoring, and he becomes the col and exact team leader

Seo Kang Joon will play Kim Young Goon, a motor patrol officer. By chance, he meets Do Chi Kwang, who has something to do with something that happened to him in the past. Though Kim Young Goon had tried to erase his shocking past, meeting Do Chi Kwang leads him to join the anti-corruption team to find the truth.

Kim Hyun Joo, who will play the popular lawyer Han Tae Joo. During her career as a prosecutor, an investigation she got involved in went too far and she almost lost her life in the process. Since then, she has set up her own private law firm after quitting her job as a prosecutor, and fate leads her to the anti-corruption team

“Watcher” is set to begin airing in the second half of the year.
