On October 8, it was confirmed that NU’EST will be appearing on JTBC’s “Idol Room” on the October 22 broadcast to celebrate their upcoming mini album “The Table,” which will be released the day before on October 21.
Though all the members have been on the show before, with Minhyun appearing when he was promoting as a member of Wanna One and JR, Aron, Baekho, and Ren appearing as NU’EST W, this will be the first time the group is on the show as a full group.
The members are expected to take part in the Idol999 segment, in which MCs Jung Hyung Don and Defconn look for 999 idols to join their idol project group. Four of the five members previously showed off their skills and charms in the survival show “Produce 101 Season 2,” so it will be interesting to see how they fare under the scrutiny of the two MCs. Though the majority of the members are vocalists, it is being said that they will attempt to join Idol999 as rappers.
Anticipation is rising for the NU’EST members’ teamwork, as well as their chemistry with MCs Jung Hyung Don and Defconn.
NU’EST’s appearance on “Idol Room” will air on October 22 at 6:30 p.m. KST, and the group will make their comeback on October 21 with their seventh mini album “The Table.”
