NMIXX has officially joined the “million seller” club!
Last week, NMIXX made their comeback with their new single album “A Midsummer NMIXX’s Dream” and its catchy title track “Party O’Clock.”
According to Hanteo Chart, “A Midsummer NMIXX’s Dream” sold 1,030,541 copies in the first week of its release (July 11 to 17)—easily smashing NMIXX’s previous first-week sales record of 630,811 (set by their previous EP “expérgo“).
Not only is “A Midsummer NMIXX’s Dream” NMIXX’s first album to surpass 1 million sales, but it has also made NMIXX only the sixth girl group in Hanteo history to sell a million copies of an album within the first week of its release (following aespa, BLACKPINK, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, and (G)I-DLE).
Only six other girl group albums have ever managed to surpass 1 million sales in their first week (according to Hanteo data): aespa’s “Girls” and “MY WORLD,” BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK,” IVE’s “I’ve IVE,” LE SSERAFIM’s “UNFORGIVEN,” and (G)I-DLE’s “I feel.”
Congratulations to NMIXX on their amazing achievement!
