NewJeans Announced As First K-Pop Girl Group To Perform On “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve”

NewJeans will be ringing in the new year at ABC’s annual year-end show!

On December 14, it was confirmed NewJeans will be performing at this year’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.”

“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” is one of the representative year-end shows in the United States, and it airs from the evening of December 31 (local time) until the new year. During the program, popular artists perform as a countdown to the new year and an annual ball drop event take place at New York City’s Times Square.

NewJeans will be the first-ever K-pop girl group to perform on the show, and they will be performing “Super Shy” and “ETA.” Previously, BTS, J-Hope, and TXT performed at the annual year-end program.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Even will begin airing on December 31 at 8 p.m. EST (January 1 at 10 a.m. KST).
