NewJeans is climbing up Billboard’s Hot 100 with their hit song “Super Shy“!
Last week, NewJeans became the fastest K-pop group in history to enter the Hot 100 (Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States) with three different songs, having managed to chart “Ditto,” “OMG,” and “Super Shy” less than a year after their debut.
After debuting at No. 66 last week, “Super Shy” climbed to No. 64 on the Hot 100 for the week ending on July 29, marking the group’s highest ranking on the chart to date.
“Super Shy” also became NewJeans’ first song ever to enter Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart, where it debuted at No. 47 this week.
Additionally, “Super Shy” stayed strong at No. 3 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, No. 5 on the Global 200, and No. 6 on the World Digital Song Sales chart in its second week on all three charts.
Meanwhile, NewJeans’ other new pre-release single “New Jeans” ranked No. 10 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, No. 34 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and No. 47 on the Global 200 in its second week.
Finally, NewJeans charted at No. 64 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking their fourth overall week on the chart.
