A new group poster has been released for the upcoming drama “Twenty Five, Twenty One”!
The drama is set in 1998 and features Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri as the lead characters Baek Yi Jin and Na Hee Do. The pair first meets when they are 22 and 18 years old, respectively, and they fall in love when they are 25 and 21, experiencing confusing yet exciting feelings as their first love develops.
In the poster, the five actors Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Tae Ri, WJSN’s Bona, Choi Hyun Wook, and Lee Joo Myung are walking down the street together with a carefree attitude, exuding an air of youthfulness. As they walk confidently through an alleyway, the words, “In the middle of our youth, that summer was ours,” are placed over their heads. Their bold outfits and facial expressions show different aspects of their personalities and characters that are bound to bring excitement throughout the story. The colorful, retro fashion of the characters attracts much attention in the poster.
Kim Tae Ri, who plays Na Hee Do, dons a yellow crop-top and loose fitting pants with sunglasses, bringing a fun attitude to her character. Nam Joo Hyuk, who takes on the role of Baek Yi Jin, leads the pack wearing a red Hawaiian shirt that evokes a boyish charm. Bona’s suspenders adorned with various keychains, Choi Hyun Wook’s combination of a football jersey and pink goggles around his neck, along with Lee Joo Myung’s layered floral skirt, green hoodie, and orange pants, all bring a bright and playful vibe to the poster.
The production company Hwa&Dam Pictures, stated, “Through this poster, we wanted to convey the feeling of youth in the year 1998 through each of the five characters. Please look forward to ‘Twenty Five, Twenty One,’ which will provide comfort that only youth can through pleasant laughter and touching moments.”
The first episode of “Twenty Five, Twenty One” will air on February 12 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
