Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri are off to a rocky start in “Twenty Five, Twenty One”!
The upcoming drama is set in 1998 and features Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri as the lead characters Baek Yi Jin and Na Hee Do. The pair first meets when they are 22 and 18 years old. respectively, and then once again when they are 25 and 21. Throughout the drama, their friendship blossoms into a romance, and they experience confusing yet exciting feelings as their first love develops.
The newly released stills capture Baek Yi Jin and Na Hee Do’s first meeting. Baek Yi Jin comes to Na Hee Do’s house to deliver the newspaper, and he’s taken aback when she suddenly starts shouting at him. She runs over and protests vehemently about something as her lips curve downwards into a heavy frown. He looks flustered as he tries to explain what’s going on, but they eventually get into a quarrel, raising questions about what happened.
Before filming, Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk analyzed the scene and exchanged opinions with director Jung Ji Hyun. They discussed the details of their characters, including their emotions and gestures. With their amazing concentration, they showcased fantastic teamwork, raising expectations for their chemistry on screen. In particular, the two actors begin shooting with excitement and tension because it’s an important scene where their characters face each other for the first time.
