Na In Woo, Kwon Yool, And More Confirm Casting In New Drama Starring Kim Ji Eun

Na In Woo, Kwon Yool, Lee Kyu Han, and more are confirmed to star in a new drama!

On June 7, ENA’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “I Have Waited a Long Time for You” (literal title) unveiled the main cast including Na In Woo, Kwon Yool, Lee Kyu Han, Bae Jong Ok, and Jung Sang Hoon along with Kim Ji Eun, who was previously confirmed for the female lead role.

“I Have Waited a Long Time for You” is a mystery crime series following the story of detective Oh Jin Sung who is working to avenge his younger brother. Director Han Chul Soo and writer Kwon Min Soo of “Graceful Family” will be working together once again on this project, and the drama also marks director Han Chul Soo and Kim Ji Eun’s reunion after working together on “Again My Life.”

Na In Woo takes on the role of Oh Jin Sung, a detective at the Woojin Police Station who is also a busybody doing things that he isn’t even asked to do. Oh Jin Sung gets transferred to the Special Investigation team for a serial murder case and embarks on an investigation with Ko Young Joo (Kim Ji Eun) and Cha Young Woon (Kwon Yool).

Kim Ji Eun plays Oh Jin Sung’s friend and prosecutor Ko Young Joo, a woman of principle who believes that injustice must be punished even through more injustice.

Kwon Yool portrays Cha Young Woon, the only son of Jinjin Group and an elite prosecutor who works together with Ko Young Joo at the Central District Prosecutor’s Office. Ko Young Joo’s honesty and confidence make Cha Young Woon’s heart flutter, but as Oh Jin Sung joins the Special Investigation team for the case, Cha Young Woon starts a rivalry against Oh Jin Sung over Ko Young Joo.

Bae Jong Ok takes on the role of Cha Young Woon’s mother and the director of Jinjin Medical Yoo Jung Sook, who is respected for her upright personality and perfect skills as a doctor.

Lee Kyu Han plays Cha Young Woon’s friend Park Ki Young, a correspondent for the Prosecutor’s Office.

Lastly, Jung Sang Hoon plays Bae Min Kyu, the son of an influential member of the National Assembly, who thinks that money is power.

The production team remarked, “We have completed filming and are currently gearing up for post-production.”

“I Have Waited a Long Time for You” is scheduled to premiere on July 26 at 9 p.m. KST. Stay tuned!
