Part 1 of MBC’s “My Dearest” is winding to a close next week!

On August 26, the hit historical romance drama achieved its highest viewership ratings to date for a Saturday (when its ratings have typically been lower compared to Fridays). According to Nielsen Korea, the eighth episode of “My Dearest” took first place in its time slot across all channels with an average nationwide rating of 10.3 percent.

Meanwhile, SBS’s “The First Responders 2”—which airs in the same time slot as “My Dearest”—rose slightly to an average nationwide rating of 6.3 percent for its latest episode.

JTBC’s “Behind Your Touch” took first place in its time slot across all cable channels with an average nationwide rating of 5.6 percent, while tvN’s “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch” scored a nationwide average of 3.9 percent for the night.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “The Real Has Come!” continued its reign as the most-watched program of any kind to air on Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 21.0 percent.
