“Missing: The Other Side 2” has gifted viewers with a chart explaining just how exactly the characters in the new season of the hit drama are connected while carefully leaving out a few crucial details to keep everyone on their toes!
“Missing: The Other Side” is a mystery fantasy drama about villages inhabited by the souls of people who went missing while they were alive. After two years, the series is returning for a second season with Go Soo, Heo Joon Ho, Ahn So Hee, and more reprising their roles.
Starting at the very top of the chart, the infamous soul searching duo is placed at the very center. There is the affectionate Kim Wook (Go Soo) and Jang Pan Seok (Heo Joon Ho), a man who is weighed down by lingering grief after his daughter went missing. Viewers are no doubt looking forward to seeing how the bond between these two will strengthen in the new season. Perhaps the question as to how exactly these two are able to see souls may also be solved.
A particularly interesting thing to note is Kim Wook’s connection to Moon Bo Ra (Choi Myung Bin), the daughter of one of the missing people. The line connecting them is labeled with a question mark, leaving viewers to guess what this connection could possibly mean. Could this possibly be connected to the reason why he and Jang Pan Seok are able to see souls?
Then there is Lee Jong Ah (Ahn So Hee), who will live with Kim Wook and Jang Pan Seok in a sharehouse, bringing the brains to the soul searching duo.
Moving down the chart, there are the members of the Third Industrial Complex, a new soul village. There are Kang Eun Shil (Lee Jung Eun), Oh Il Yong (Kim Dong Hwi), Jung Yeon Jin (Jung Eun Pyo), Yang Eun Hee (Kwon Ah Reum), and four children. There is also a mystery character who goes by the name of Ahn Hye Joo. What are these people’s stories, and how did they come to reside in the Third Industrial Complex? Among the residents, Kang Eun Shil is without a doubt the head of the group, having lived in the village for 30 years and taking on the responsibility of feeding the residents and bringing the village residents together with kindness. Viewers can look forward to her becoming an active participant in Kim Wook and Jang Pan Seok’s activities.
On the right side of the chart, there is the Drug Organization, a group shrouded in mystery. What’s most interesting is Oh Il Yong’s supposed connection with the group, and questions are raised about the true identity of the Third Industrial Complex resident.
Finally, there is the Missing Persons Task Force, which is made up of Shin Joon Ho (Ha Joon) and Baek Il Doo (Ji Dae Han). Shin Joon Ho will work alongside Kim Wook and Jang Pan Seok. There is also Lee Man Shik (Kim Gun Ho), a member of the Drug Squad.
What is the Third Industrial Complex’s connection to the drug organization, and how will they work together with the soul searching duo?
