The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual idols!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 1,730 idols, using big data collected from April 23 to May 23.
IVE’s Jang Won Young topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 4,814,980, marking a whopping 355.59 percent increase in her score since April.
High-ranking phrases in Jang Won Young’s keyword analysis included “Lucky Vicky,” “super positive,” and “Wonyoung-esque accident,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “positive,” “lucky,” and “pretty.” Jang Won Young’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 91.87 percent positive reactions.
ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo took second place with a brand reputation index of 4,802,095, marking a 23.41 percent rise in his score since last month.
IVE’s An Yu Jin shot to third place after seeing a staggering 584.79 percent increase in her brand reputation index, bringing her total score for May to 3,998,536.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s Jennie came in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,050,691.
Finally, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon rounded out the top five for May with a brand reputation index of 2,833,943.
