Episode 15 of Marry My Husband picks back up at the moment Min-hwan is attacking Ji-won. Ji-hyuk arrives in time to save her and give Min-hwan a beating as well. Elsewhere, Seok-jun drives Joo-ran home and instructs her to not pick up her husband’s calls. He then gets a call from Ji-hyuk who is at the police station and tells Seok-jun to go to the hospital. He and Joo-ran rush over and find Ji-won stable but unconscious.
At the police station, Min-hwan tries to goad Ji-hyuk but it doesn’t work. Soon, Seok-jun arrives and gets Ji-hyuk out. On the way out, Ji-hyuk tells Seok-jun to fire Min-hwan immediately. When he learns Min-hwan has some debt, Ji-hyuk tells Seok-jun to put pressure on it. Seok-jun then informs him that Ji-won went home.
Ji-hyuk reaches home and tells Joo-ran to head back to hers. Inside, Ji-won is still really upset but he comforts her. Meanwhile, Su-min meets Yoo-ra. She plays a recording from her father’s phone that proves Yoo-ra tried to kill Ji-won. She’s blackmailing Yoo-ra.
Once she leaves, Yoo-ra tells her secretary to make sure there’s no news about Hui-suk and Man-sik’s bodies. Just then, Min-hwan calls from the police station, asking for help. Her secretary lets Min-hwan out but Min-hwan picks a fight with him as well.
On the way home, he speaks to Yoo-ra who tells him that Su-min came to tell her he wants a divorce. That’s when Min-hwan gets another phone call and learns that he’s fired. At home, the loan sharks are waiting for him right outside his door. They leave him with a nasty bruise.
At home, Min-hwan hacks into Su-min’s bank account and sees she has 80 million won. She’s also stolen the cash that Yoo-ra had given her father for killing Ji-won.
Su-min then gets a call from someone unexpected — Ji-hyuk! Elsewhere, at a hospital, a drunk Jae-won confronts Joo-ran in the middle of her treatment. He’s angry about Joo-ran divorcing him on the basis of adultery. Seok-jun arrives in time to stop him from hurting Joo-ran.
Su-min and Ji-hyuk meet at the bar of the hotel where Su-min is staying. She tries to put on an act but all of a sudden Ji-hyuk asks if she tried to kill Ji-won. He says that Min-hwan and Ji-won are seeing each other, cheating on Su-min and Ji-hyuk respectively. He pretends to want Su-min’s help in catching them in the act. He offers her the idea of working together and leaves her to think about it.
Later, he and Ji-won discuss their plan to make sure Su-min catches Yoo-ra and Min-hwan in bed. Ji-hyuk says Min-hwan will soon get notice about an insurance policy at U&K that would compensate him if Su-min dies. Ji-hyuk and Ji-won believe that the stage is set.
Yoo-ra’s secretary advises Yoo-ra to go back to Japan. But she has one more card to play. Ji-hyuk’s grandfather. She meets him and they play a board game. Ji-hyuk enters the room and even brings Ji-won with him. This annoys Yoo-ra, who leaves and tells her secretary she needs to get rid of Ji-won herself. Inside the house, Ji-won persuades Ji-hyuk’s grandfather to accept her by talking about how she thinks of Ji-hyuk, saying she accepts him, flaws and all.
At work the next day, the meal kit project seems to be going well thanks to Eun-ho. He notices that Hui-yeon isn’t around. After dropping him off, Ji-won heads back upstairs and finds Su-min facing her. Su-min confronts her about seducing Min-hwan. She taunts her and says she wouldn’t want such trash. But once the security has dragged Su-min out, Ji-won sends her texts that were meant for Min-hwan ‘by mistake’. As they had planned, this frustrates Su-min and she calls Ji-hyuk. She agrees to work with him as long as she can see Ji-won at rock bottom.
At home, Min-hwan receives the notice about the insurance policy at U&K. Naturally, he notices the clause about getting 500 million won for a spouse’s death. He goes up to Yoo-ra and offers to ‘take care’ of Su-min for her, so she won’t have to worry about the blackmail.
At the office, Ji-hyuk approaches Ji-won and tells her that Min-hwan is at Yoo-ra’s place. He then messages Su-min and gives her the hotel name and number. Su-min goes to the hotel and sees Ji-won, who has reached there to bait Su-min. While Su-min heads up the elevator, Ji-won and Ji-hyuk wait downstairs.
Su-min knocks on the hotel room door and storms in, past the secretary. She hears Min-hwan talking about getting her life insurance and storms into the bedroom where Min-hwan and Yoo-ra are in each other’s arms. Just the way Ji-won had in her past life.
Su-min rails at Min-hwan and takes photos of him in bed with Yoo-ra. The secretary then ties Su-min up. Yoo-ra tells Min-hwan to go ahead with his original plan. When Min-hwan leaves with Su-min in a car, Yoo-ra tells the secretary to have Min-hwan arrested for Su-min’s murder.
Su-min wakes up tied up in an apartment. She finds out Min-hwan has taken all of her money and plans to kill her. When he goes out to find the gas, Su-min lets herself out of the ropes. When he returns, she leaps at him with a knife but he manages to overpower her.
The fight continues and Su-min reveals that Min-hwan is sterile. As they struggle, Su-min ends up being the one to push Min-hwan into a glass table. The same way Min-hwan gave Ji-won that fatal push. Soon, policemen are shown all over the place.
At work, Seok-jun calls Ji-hyuk and tells him that Joo-ran will be able to get a divorce. The video of the dashcam that recorded her husband’s affair is suddenly working. So she has enough proof. At the same time, Ji-won gets a text that informs her about Min-hwan’s death. She and Ji-hyuk discuss how he died. Later, they go to the funeral as well where Min-hwan’s mother is distraught and blames Su-min for everything.
Ji-hyuk hears that Min-hwan’s parents have reported a theft at their house. Ji-hyuk concludes that it’s Su-min. Even the police haven’t been able to find her. While Ji-hyuk and Ji-won watch the news at night, Su-min stands right outside their home. She promises that Ji-won will not be happy.
Episode 15 brings back a lot of the show’s earlier strengths – the quick pace, the heightened tension, the melodrama. While Ji-won and Ji-hyuk pull strings, it’s delightful to watch Min-hwan and Su-min slowly get drawn into their trap. It’s a good thing that Yoo-ra maintains a supporting role, she was never as convincing a villain as that vile couple anyway.
Ji-won gets surprisingly little screen time but she absolutely takes the cake in that one conversation with Su-min. Park Min-young does a fabulous job of changing Ji-won’s temperament — making her jibe and taunt and snark where she never did before. It’s amazing to watch Su-min look stumped.
As things come to a conclusion, the show’s final twist is incredible. In a testament to the unique writing of this drama, the date that should have been Su-min’s goes to Min-hwan instead. He’s the one that gets Ji-won’s fate. How does this change things? How will Su-min — never one to let things be — take her revenge? This is a delicious turn of events that ensures the final episode will have a showdown between the two women.
