“Maestra: Strings Of Truth” Stars Say Goodbye And Share Thoughts Ahead Of Finale

The stars of tvN’s “Maestra: Strings of Truth” have shared their thoughts ahead of tonight’s series finale!

Based on the French series “Philharmonia,” “Maestra: Strings of Truth” is a thriller drama starring Lee Young Ae as Cha Se Eum, a brilliant and legendary conductor who uncovers truths hidden within her orchestra while hiding secrets of her own.

With just one episode left to go, Lee Young Ae remarked, “I started preparing for this drama in November of last year, and I was so happy during filming. The thought that the drama is ending makes me very sad.”

The actress continued, “I would like to bow my head in gratitude to conductor Sol Chin and the musicians who worked hard to create a great music drama, along with our director, our writer, and the entire cast and crew. Additionally, I’d like to sincerely thank everyone who gave their love to ‘Maestra: Strings of Truth.’”

Meanwhile, Lee Moo Saeng expressed his gratitude to the drama’s viewers by saying, “Thank you so much to everyone who watched our ‘Maestra: Strings of Truth.’ I’d also like to thank the director, our writer, and the crew that worked so hard.”

“I hope to greet you again with a new side of myself in the near future,” he continued. “Until then, please always be healthy and happy.”

Kim Young Jae revealed with a laugh, “Although it was all acting, [my character] Kim Pil’s behavior was so revolting that it wasn’t always a pleasure playing him. For me, the task I was assigned was depicting Kim Pil as a realistic and three-dimensional character.”

He went on to add, “However, even in spite of that, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forget the time I spent together with Lee Young Ae, director Kim Jung Kwon, and the rest of the cast and crew.”

Finally, Hwang Bo Reum Byeol shared, “I think that the time I spent not only acting, but also preparing to play the violin, will remain with me for a long time in my memories.”

Referring to her character’s arc in the drama, she continued, “Although Roo Na wasn’t able to do so, I hope that both I and the viewers will be able to share healthy love in all of our relationships. I truly thank you for tuning in until the very end.”

The final episode of “Maestra: Strings of Truth” will air on January 14 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
