In the first scene of Live Your Own Life episode 27, Hyo-sim informs her mother that she is leaving the house. Yet again, Sun-soon tries to gaslight Hyo-sim into staying by playing the victim. Nevertheless, Hyo-sim returns to her room this time, having made up her mind.

The following morning, Hyo-sim is seen training Tae-ho. She confides in him regarding her mother. Following that, Tae-ho reassures her that leaving is the correct decision. Following this, Hyo-sim tells Tae-ho that she thinks something is off with Tae-min. Nevertheless, Tae-ho suggests that she prioritize her problems.

Later that day, Tae-min visits Soo-kyung and tells her that he’s ready to get married to her on Sunday. Even when they’re married, he warns her that she shouldn’t count on him being hers. His disinterest in the marriage is made crystal clear to her. However, she’s still thrilled to get married to him.

During the beginning of the night, Sun-soon gathers her children together as a family. Sun-soon doesn’t want Hyo-sim to move out. While Hyo-sung backs Hyo-sim’s choice, Hyo-joon requests that Hyo-sim hold off for a little longer. On the other hand, Hyo-do maintains a neutral stance. Hyo-sim leaves her family, sobbing as she announces her intention to move out and tells them they can no longer rely on her for help.

Following that, Hyo-sim meets Tae-ho. After that, he reassures her and fixes her mood. Tae-min tells Hyo-sim he’s getting married when he sees her later the same day. He expresses his feelings for her and then apologizes for getting married. He then tells her why he loves her. Hyo-sim attempts to reassure him and tells him he deserves happiness.

The following day, Tae-min is seen getting married to Soo-kyung. Meanwhile, Hyo-sim is seen making her way to her apartment. Hyo-sim reassures Sun-soon that she will be there for her and that she will see her on weekends, despite Sun-soon’s efforts to stop her. At the end of the episode, Sun-soon chases Hyo-sim as she runs from home.

The Episode Review

In episode 27, Tae-min gets married to Soo-kyung. A family gathering is called for by Sun-soon. Hyo-sim moves out of Uicheon Villa.

There are plenty of humorous and heartfelt moments in the episode. It’s unfortunate that Tae-min is married against his will in this episode. On top of that, there are many who think he would have been better with Hyo-sim. However, it’s undeniable that Tae-ho brings Hyo-sim’s better qualities to the forefront.

All things considered, the episode is an emotional roller coaster. At this stage in the story, the characters are encountering significant challenges or changes. Consequently, it will be intriguing to watch the plot develop in the episodes to come.
