Live Your Own Life (2023) K Drama Episode 20

In the opening scene of Live Your Own Life episode 20, Tae-ho and Tae-min are seen playing tennis. During the match, Tae-ho inquires of Tae-min whether he has also been turned down by Hyo-sim. To calm Tae-min down, he points out that if they don’t stop bothering Hyo-sim, they risk scarring her.

At TS Fitness, Hyo-sim gets Tae-ho to work out harder so she can let her frustration out. On the contrary, Tae-min and Soo-kyung skip out on their gym session. Following their workout, Tae-ho offers Hyo-sim an address and asks her to meet him later to sign the modelling contract.

As this is happening, Sun-soon is at Uicheon Villa when she sees the graffiti that Tae-ho wrote asking Hyo-sim out. Additionally, Ggeut-soon wants to know if Hyo-sim has a boyfriend. However, Hyo-sim voices her concerns, saying she doesn’t want to get married at an early age.

Following that, Hyo-sim meets Tae-ho and signs the modelling contract later that day. She is soon confronted by her brother Hyo-sung, who picked up about her modelling gig. He expresses his reservations with Tae-ho and Tae-min. Nonetheless, Hyo-sim assures him that she and Tae-ho are not involved in any romantic relationship.

The following day, Hyo-sim tells Tae-ho that the gym is closed the following day. She goes on to tell him that the staff is heading out on a trip. Clients of the gym end up bringing snacks for the trainers later that day. After seeing this, Tae-ho contributes beer. On recognising Tae-ho, the gym manager extends an invitation for him to join the trip, and he gladly accepts.

The episode ends with the fitness instructors on a road trip together. Meanwhile, as the show ends, Hyo-sim and Tae-ho are driving separately in his car.

The Episode Review

In episode 20, Tae-min and Tae-ho resolve to stop bothering Hyo-sim. The modelling job that Hyo-sung’s sister got has left him upset. Tae-ho joins Hyo-sim on the gym trip.

Considering its length, the episode doesn’t accomplish much plot-wise. Having said that, even though there aren’t many, the episode isn’t without its moments. However, in contrast to previous episodes, this one has a fairly even distribution of drama. The show has great potential to draw us in, so we’re hoping things work out well for it.
