Just a few days after hitting the 1 million mark, Lee Jung Jae’s directorial debut film “Hunt” has doubled its number of tickets sold at the box office!
The Korean Film Council announced that “Hunt” had officially surpassed 2 million moviegoers on August 16 at 11:42 a.m. KST. The film has remained No. 1 at the Korean box office every single day since its release on August 10, meaning that it has topped the box office for seven consecutive days.
In celebration of the milestone, Lee Jung Jae, Jung Woo Sung, and Jung Man Shik performed a hilarious skit. In the clip, Jung Man Shik urgently runs over to Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung with something that looks like an important document. They open it up to find pieces of paper that thank moviegoers for helping them surpass 2 million moviegoers, and they pose with bright grins on their faces.
