MBC’s upcoming drama “Flower That Blooms at Night” has released a poster of male lead Lee Jong Won!

Set in the Joseon era, “Flower That Blooms at Night” is an action-comedy drama starring Honey Lee as Jo Yeo Hwa, a woman who has lived a quiet and modest life as a virtuous widow by day for 15 years. However, she is secretly leading a double life: at night, she valiantly sneaks out to help those in need.

Lee Jong Won will star in the drama as Park Soo Ho, a military officer with a sharp mind and exceptional combat skills. On top of these strengths, he also has a gentle personality and upstanding character.

In his new poster, part of Park Soo Ho’s face is veiled in shadow as he looks into the camera with a calm and steady gaze. Meanwhile, the caption reveals his determination to catch masked widow Jo Yeo Hwa, reading, “I’m going to catch you no matter what, so don’t enter my line of vision.”

The drama’s production team commented, “Soo Ho’s eyes, which can be seen through the shadows draped [over his face], are fixed on someone. As a military officer, his top priority is doing things by the book, but when he happens to discover Yeo Hwa’s secret, he is torn between his desire to catch her and his desire to protect her. [In his poster], we used black and white to capture those contrasting feelings.”
